In a rush to offer unlimited calling plans just hours after Verizon Wireless’ announcement two days ago, AT&T Wireless and T-Mobile have yet to clearly promote the new plans on their sites.
Customers can’t miss Verizon’s new plan, as its site greets customers with one large animated presentation touting that they can “Plan on never worrying about minutes again.” The sites of AT&T and T-Mobile, however, have yet to show any sign of the new calling plans on their wireless sites — without searching through recent press releases.
As far as the other carriers go:
- Sprint does not yet have a nationwide unlimited voice plan, but does promote an unlimited texting plan on its site.
- Irvine’s Boost Mobile began offering an unlimited calling plan last April and also announced today a rebranding that includes a new font, logo and a new ad campaign touting the company’s unlimited plan or “unltd.”
- Helio LLC, which leases access from Sprint’s network, has also offered unlimited voice for some time, but after dropping its price on Feb. 4, the company advertises its plan clearly on its site as “unlimited everything for one low price.”
